West Links team compete in Murcia

West Links Juniors Andrew Irvine, Robbie Landles, Jack Collingswood and Aidan Lawson travelled out to Mar Menor Golf Resort in Murcia, Spain to take part in the Murcia Cup.

The boys took part in a friendly match against Murcia Juniors and then had a practice round day before the 54 hole competition, which was open to all age groups. Aidan finished T4, Jack T13 and Andrew T20.

Leaving some typically unpleasant Scottish January weather behind, the boys were treated to week of sunshine and made the best of the opportunity to play in very different conditions, making it a really valuable experience. When they weren't practicing or playing, the boys kept themselves busy in the pool and also managed to fit in football, paddle ball, crazy golf, pool, darts, gym and sauna!

The whole trip was spent in excellent spirits and all four boys were an absolute credit to West Links Juniors.
