our West Links Juniors
West Links Junior Golf Club takes the duty of care we have to all our juniors very seriously. We are a SafeGolf accredited club, having met the standards set by Scottish Golf to safeguard children and young people.
All our coaches and volunteers are PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) checked and are certified in Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport. Our coaches and convenors are all 1st Aid trained.

Hallo! I am the Safeguarding Officer for West Links Junior Golf Club.
I am a keen golfer, a member of North Berwick Golf Club and a parent of a West Links junior.
Safeguarding is something everyone is looking out for, but my role is specifically to be the key point of contact for any queries or reports of any issues at the club. I also help maintain policies and create club processes, and advise the wider club and committee about welfare and safeguarding. I have been trained as a Safeguarding Officer through Scottish Golf.
